Energy & EV charging
A vehicle, charger, battery or inverter can support the right standard and still fail at the next step. Check the exact hardware first, then the software, controller, tariff and local grid requirements that apply to your setup.
Germany V2H / V2G
Check supported EV configurations, OEM wallbox compatibility, home-energy prerequisites, tariff state and German technical rules for bidirectional charging.
Germany solar-battery retrofit
Start with an existing PV inverter and check documented native-battery, conditional and retained-inverter AC retrofit paths.
North America EV charging
Check Tesla NACS Partner Supercharger, Magic Dock, CCS1 DC and Level 2 routes, including adapter, software and model-specific restrictions.
UK whole-home energy compatibility
Check whether solar, battery, export limiting, EV charging, heat-pump controls and smart tariffs can work together without competing controllers.
Which checker should I use?
- Can this EV charge here? Use the North America EV charging checker for US/Canada charging routes.
- Can this EV send power back to the home or grid? Use Germany V2H/V2G for the German combinations currently covered.
- Can I add a battery to existing solar? Use the Germany solar-battery retrofit checker for German inverter/battery paths, or the country solar-battery router where another supported country route exists.
- Will the whole UK household control stack cooperate? Use the UK whole-home checker for controller conflicts, export limiting and tariff prerequisites.
A matching plug or protocol is only one part of the answer. The checker for each country shows the other conditions that still need to be satisfied.
Supporting compatibility guides
Use these when the question is narrower than the main checker. They remain evidence-bounded guides, not extra permutations of the same result page.
